“Fairest Lord Jesus”

One of my favorite hymns, sung with one of my favorite people—my baby sister.

This song reminds me that all things will eventually fade, but love remains. Even through grief, change, and difficult times, the love of Jesus continues to hold and keep us.

This video is deeply personal. All photography was taken by me and features places that have shown me love and shaped who I am—from St. Philip’s and Cromwell Valley Park to my time in Vermont and the flowers and plants of my grandmother’s backyard. Each image holds a memory.

I also reimagined the instrumentation to reflect who I am musically. I love taking music that has lived for generations and finding ways to make it feel personal and present while honoring what made it beautiful in the first place.

Singing this with my sister makes it even more precious. Life changes. We grow up, people leave, places change, and seasons end—but we carry these moments with us. Wherever life takes us, we will always have this song and the memory of singing it together.
